Yikes!
Before the Christmas holiday, I found a contractor who said he would install my hardwood floors. This guy has experience installing floors. He was recommended by a friend and his price was great. The contractor said that he wouldn't be able to get around to it until the New Year. Well, it's the New Year and I can't get a hold of this guy! Yikes! I really want to get these floors installed sooner than later... so the search is on (again) for someone to come in and install our floors. Hopefully, I'll be able to find someone. Any recommendations?

Matt, I'm glad you wrote "finishing with some beer". Can't imagine what the installation would end up looking like if you were to start with some beer.

Are you putting in laminate flooring or real hardwood? Laminate is very easy to do. I did it in Ed's room!

Nope its the real stuff. Part of my problem is renting or borowing the tools (nailer etc), when it is all said and done, 1.50 a sqr foot is about the same cost as if I did it myself.
We are planning some other rooms in the house, those would likely be laminate.
